At My Maine Get a Way, LLC we have the perfect vacation spot for you. On the lake, on the ocean, in the woods, secluded, or near a thriving "Downtown" area; whatever you desire, our goal is to provide your perfect Get A Way! However you picture your dream vacation, one thing remains the same: we do the work. Upon arrival you will find a neat, clean and well maintained property. We can even offer suggestions on where to go and what to see during your visit and help you in setting up amenities that will make your stay complete! Have special requests before you arrive? All vacation rental properties are owned by individuals who have contracted with My Maine Get-A-Way, LLC to rent out to vacationers. Each property is furnished by the owner and offers all amenities (water, heat, electricity) unless otherwise noted. Smoking is not permitted in any rental properties. Pets are allowed at some properties; a refundable pet deposit is required.

Payment Schedule:

• Once a reservation has been made a rental agreement will be sent and must be signed and returned to us WITHIN 10 DAYS along with a deposit of 50% of the rental fee.
• Upon receipt of the signed rental agreement and deposit we will send out a "My Maine Get-A-Way" Package with specific information on the property you have chosen to rent, as well as driving directions and information on the community you will be visiting.
• 30 days before your arrival, full payment is due. This includes:
  • Remainder of the rental fee
  • Full security deposit - (returned after a property inspection ensures the property is left in acceptable condition)
  • 7% Maine lodging tax - on stays of 28 days or less (tax is based on the rental amount minus any security deposits and amenities)
  • 1% nonrefundable processing fee
  • Pet deposits or any other amenity fees (Pet deposits returned after a property inspection ensures the property is left in acceptable condition)

Payment is accepted by Check or Money Order

Cancellations:

• After making the reservation, rental clients can cancel without penalty, within 10 days from the day the reservation is made.
• Cancellations made 45 days or more before arrival: 25% of the rental fee will be retained. Payments for remainder of rent, taxes, deposits and other amenities will be refunded.
• Cancellations made less than 45 days before arrival: We will refund to the renter any taxes, deposits or other amenities minus the cost of 1 weeks rent for a cancellation fee
• In ALL cases of cancellation My Maine Get-A-Way, LLC will make every attempt possible to re-rent the property, if we are able to re-rent for the same time period we will refund the rental cost, taxes, deposits and any other amenity fees minus a 10% administrative fee (of the weekly rent) for a cancellation fee.
