The larger of the 2 bedrooms has a queen bed, the smaller bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is a large deck with a
table and chairs for eating plus other chairs for enjoying the view. There are many nearby attractions so a lot of
driving is not necessary. The price of gas is ridiculous these days. It's also a wonderful place to stay put in case
what you really want is a peaceful, quiet time to relax and skip all the running around that we all have to do on a
daily basis.
Nearby
The mid-coast area offers all one could want. There is shopping in Rockland and picturesque Camden.
Fine dining is available in both towns. The Farnsworth Art Museum and the Wyeth Center are in Rockland as is the
Lighthouse Museum. the Owls Head Transportation Museum has special events most weekends in the summer and fall.
There are several local fairs and the Lobster Festival. Rockland also hosts a Blues Festival, Windjammer and other
types of day sails. The ferry to Monhegan is just a short drive away. There are several fine hiking trails nearby
and more only a short drive away.
