Charming Damariscotta Lake Cottage
Only 75 feet from the cottage, a long dock offers easy access to our beautiful cove on Damariscotta Lake. Swimming to the float is a favorite activity! Within recent years, our cottage has been upgraded and restored, enhancing its vintage charm. The ceilings are open to the rafters and roof, the kitchen and bathrooms are new, and automatic gas heat was installed in the living room. A new master bedroom suite with laundry and half bath was added, with full privacy from the main cottage through a connecting enclosed passageway. New septic system and drilled well provide excellent service often lacking in summer cottages. Flower and herb gardens provide a warm welcome at the front door, and we offer free fresh vegetables from our in-town gardens. Close by: Pemaquid Lighthouse, the Fort, and beach, quaint Damariscotta village, fresh lobsters, and the seacoast. A short 5 miles up the lake to Damariscotta Lake State Park, with one of the best sandy beaches in Maine. Perfect for your summer-in-Maine cottage vacation!
